R K Lucas & Son is one of Pembrokeshire’s oldest established businesses. We started life as Estate Managers for local estates – some of which we still manage today before evolving to Agents acting in sales of local property.

Being a firm of chartered surveyors and valuers we are able to provide professional guidance, not only on the likely market value of your property, but also the current market conditions and trends.

We utilise a fully computerised database for matching potential purchasers to our properties who are brought to our attention through our own website, national websites such as Rightmove.co.uk and through local media advertising and footfall through our two prominently placed premises.

The system goes further than just making the initial introduction however and goes on to seek constructive feedback for a dynamic and tailored marketing service that allows us to advise and take (action) based on real market conditions and reactions.

During the recent recession R K Lucas & Son, rather than cutting advertising and marketing budgets, actually invested heavily in these systems and marketing techniques.

We understood that in times of hardship it simply would not benefit our clients to cut back on advertising and administration.

The achievements were immediately obvious, we increased our market share, gained an increased number of instructions and sold properties when others were closing branches and reducing online advertising.

As the recession finally reached an end we were superbly placed to fly out of the gates as market leaders – and we don’t intend to let that go!
